Manifesto of the Antiauthoritarian Alliance
A Global Front Against All Domination
We live in an age marked by the return and convergence of authoritarian powers. Illiberal, nationalist, and militarist regimes collaborate across borders to suppress freedom, diversity, and the self-determination of peoples.
Institutional violence becomes normalized, surveillance invades daily life, propaganda replaces dialogue.
In this landscape, indifference and resignation become tools of control.
Authoritarianism Rising — Even “on the Left”
Authoritarianism is no longer confined to the reactionary right.
In many spaces claiming to be progressive or revolutionary, we see the return of vertical power structures, state worship, identity essentialism, and paternalistic attitudes.
Some excuse oppression in the name of “anti-imperialism,” or admire regimes that silence dissent to promote order, traditional values or economic and military expansionism.
The Anti-Authoritarian Alliance rejects all such distortions: no authoritarian power can ever be liberating, regardless of its rhetoric or ideology.
Antiauthoritarianism as a Universal Principle
To be anti-authoritarian is to reject every form of domination — state, economic, religious, patriarchal, or identity-based.
It means affirming self-governance, free cooperation, and collective responsibility.
There are no benevolent rulers who can impose freedom from above; every hierarchy negates liberty itself.
Self-Determination, Pluralism, Solidarity
The Antiauthoritarian Alliance supports all struggles grounded in bottom-up organization, the refusal of oppression, and the building of free and solidaristic societies.
We affirm the right of peoples and communities to decide their own destiny, while rejecting every closed or supremacist nationalism.
Unite and Build the Front
We call on all individuals, collectives, and movements that reject authoritarianism — of any ideology or nation — to join in a common front.
Not a hierarchy, but a horizontal and transnational network of solidarity, able to share resources, ideas, and mutual support.
Our strength lies in cooperation, not in command.
Care, Security, Freedom
In a world hostile to dissent, collective care and self-protection are political acts.
We defend spaces of autonomy and free communication. We cultivate knowledge, critical thought, and the living memory of struggle.
The Call
We call upon all anti-authoritarian voices — anarchist, libertarian, socialist, feminist, ecologist, communalist, mutualist, and every free human spirit —
to unite beyond borders and ideologies, to build together a world where no one commands and no one obeys.
Against all domination, for self-management and universal solidarity.
One anti-authoritarian front, many freedoms.
